Information

Описание

Описание

A compact epiphyte endemic to the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing short racemes of few, nearly pendant flowers on upright stems with broad, oval, glossy, leathery leaves. The blooms display narrow, strongly recurved sepals and petals alongside a small, three-lobed lip with curved lateral lobes and a spotted central lobe, giving the flowers a distinctive nodding, downward-facing presentation.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun to prevent stress on the broad, glossy foliage.
  • Temperature: 57–78°F (14–26°C); an intermediate-warm grower that adapts well to stable warm conditions with moderate night temperature drops.
  • Humidity: 65–85%; good air movement around the roots and stems helps prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; avoid standing water at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark-based mix. Plants are shipped bare root and well established, ready to settle into their new growing environment.
