Описание

A miniature sympodial orchid native to the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing a single arching peduncle from a solitary leaf, consistently bearing exactly two flowers with very long, narrow linear sepals, equally slender petals, and a small tubular lip. The paired, star-like flowers on a graceful arching stem give this species an elegant, minimalist character.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can stress the delicate foliage.
  • Temperature: 54–72°F (12–22°C); an intermediate-cool grower that benefits from mild days and cool nights with good air movement.
  • Humidity: 75–85%; high humidity is essential to support the fine root system and prevent desiccation.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, which can stress the shallow root system.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small pot with a fine, moisture-retentive bark mix. A charming and unusual miniature for specialist collections. Ships bare root, well-established.
