Описание

Описание

A sympodial orchid native to the cloud forests of Ecuador, with pigmented stems and small flowers featuring narrow lanceolate sepals and a broad trilobed lip with a large central lobe bearing long, thread-like filamentous projections. The distinctive hanging filaments give the flowers an unusually delicate, spider-like appearance.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the foliage.
  • Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an intermediate grower that thrives with stable temperatures and good air circulation.
  • Humidity: 70–85%; consistent humidity supports healthy growth and reliable flowering.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the substrate to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small pot with a fine, well-draining bark mix. The thread-like lip filaments are best appreciated up close. Ships bare root, well-established.
