Описание

A reed-stem orchid from the Andean cloud forests of South America, bearing lax, arching racemes with well-spaced flowers featuring very narrow, elongated sepals and a trilobed lip with spreading lateral lobes. The open, airy floral structure gives the inflorescence an elegant, graceful appearance.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the foliage.
  • Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an intermediate grower that thrives with stable temperatures and good air circulation.
  • Humidity: 70–85%; consistent humidity supports vigorous cane growth and reliable flowering.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the substrate to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

A species from the Andean cloud forests of South America, best grown in a well-draining bark-based mix. The arching inflorescences display best when grown in a hanging basket or elevated pot. Ships bare root, well-established.
