Pleurothallis urceolata

A floriferous epiphyte from the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing tall, slender erect racemes densely packed with dozens of tiny urn-shaped flowers in uniform pale yellow-green. The concave, cup-like sepals give each bloom its characteristic urceolate form, repeated across multiple simultaneous spikes for a clean, architectural display of remarkable volume.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid harsh direct sun.
• Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a Cool to Intermediate grower. Tolerates brief dips to 45°F (7°C) if kept dry.
• Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity with good air movement.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mount or medium to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged root saturation.

Additional Notes

Well suited to a small pot with free-draining bark mix or mounted on cork. A slight nighttime temperature drop encourages blooming. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
