Pleurothallis Ecuagenera Perfection

A primary hybrid between Pths. dilemma and Pths. teaguei, combining the commanding, orbicular dorsal sepal of the former with the broad, robust lateral sepals of the latter. The result is a flower of striking symmetry and presence, with a diminutive lip and small petals nestled beneath a dramatically oversized dorsal — a bold architectural statement on a compact, easy-growing plant.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–65% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the broad, leathery leaves.
• Temperature: 50–70°F (10–21°C); a Cool to Intermediate grower with a minimum tolerance around 46°F (8°C). Cool nights promote reliable blooming.
• Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity — a humidifier or enclosed greenhouse environment is ideal.
• Watering: Keep the medium evenly moist; never allow to dry out completely, but ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a small pot with a fine, moisture-retentive mix (sphagnum or fine bark with perlite). An Ecuagenera original hybrid, shipped bare root and well-established from our cloud forest nursery in Ecuador.
