Aciopea Ingrid Suarez is a rare and exciting fragrant intermediate to warm-growing orchid primary hybrid, the result of crossing Stanhopea connata × Acineta antioquiae. Registered under the intergeneric genus Aciopea, this hybrid brings together two celebrated members of the Stanhopeinae subtribe — the richly fragrant, pendant-spiked Stanhopea connata and the bold, waxy-flowered Acineta antioquiae from the cloud forests of Antioquia, Colombia. The result is a hybrid of great promise: fragrant, architecturally impressive, and genuinely rare in cultivation.
