Cyrtocidium Sangre de Cristo

A hybrid of Ctd. Pepe Portilla × Onc. noezlianum, producing arching inflorescences with well-opened, symmetrical flowers featuring broad, ovate, slightly undulate sepals and petals and a trilobed lip with a wide, rounded midlobe and a prominent callus. Its solid floral structure, good flower size, and floriferous habit reflect the vigor of its parentage.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the strap-like leaves.
• Temperature: 50–70°F (10–21°C); thrives as an intermediate-cool grower and benefits from cooler nighttime temperatures to encourage blooming.
• Humidity: 60–80%; consistent humidity with good air circulation supports vigorous growth and prolific flowering.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark-based mix in a pot or basket in a cool, well-ventilated environment. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt to your growing conditions.
