Information

Описание

Описание

An elegant and highly striking color variant of this unifoliate species native to the forests of South America, exhibiting a compact sympodial growth habit with compressed, clavate pseudobulbs. The short, terminal inflorescences emerge from newly matured growth to bear clusters of large, heavily textured, and delightfully fragrant blossoms featuring pristine white segments contrasted by a beautifully colored lip.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the compact foliage.
  • Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); an intermediate to warm grower that adapts well to stable indoor conditions.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; consistent humidity encourages vigorous growth and prolific flowering.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; never allow the roots to remain waterlogged.

Additional Notes

This small to medium-sized plant produces large, long-lasting blossoms and ships bare root, requiring a gentle rehydration at an intermediate temperature before being potted into a loose, well-draining orchid mix upon arrival.
