Epidendrum MD's Cuzco Sunrise

A striking hybrid of Epi. kockii × Epi. orbiculatum, inheriting the succulent terete stems and compact terminal racemes of both parents. The small, open flowers feature narrow radiating sepals in sharp contrast to an oversized, deeply velvety trilobed lip with a finely papillose texture of remarkable richness.

• Light: 50–70% shade cloth; bright indirect light. The succulent habit tolerates slightly more light than typical Epidendrum.
• Temperature: 58–82°F (14–28°C) — Intermediate to Warm grower. Tolerates warm conditions well given its succulent adaptation.
• Humidity: 50–70%; good air circulation is essential. The terete stems are adapted to periods of lower humidity.
• Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the medium to dry slightly before watering again. The succulent stems store water — avoid overwatering.

Best grown mounted or in a well-draining coarse bark mix. Ships bare root and well-established, with a healthy root system ready to settle into its new home.
