This was my second try with this plant. I received a good specimen, but it is VERY prone to rot and Iím down to my last node. Beautiful plant, but very difficult to get going. Iíve successfully acclimated/rehabbed other sensitive philos, but this one still puzzles me.

It came in relatively good condition except at some point the stem had snapped during shipping. Regardless of that it lost one leaf. It came with amazing aerial roots that made things easier. The plant itself was very healthy and quiet sizable.

The plant arrived with 4 leaves and a new leaf the had opened while in transit. Half the leaf was very pale as a result and I fully expected to loose the leaf. I didn’t, in fact the new leaf greened up very quickly. About 3 weeks later virus appeared on 2 of the older leaves, but the problem has remained confined to those areas. Now there is new growth . The roots where in good shape when the plant arrived as well. Despite the few problems I’ve encountered, I am happy to have the plant.

Unfortunately arrived with stem rot and died within 2 days after receiving despite I did not disturb the plant at all when I received it to help acclimatise.

I have received a great specimen with healthy root ball and 5 leaves and 1 on the way at the time of delivery. Largest leaf blade over 25cm long, entire plant approximately 30cm tall. Wonderful philodendron for person who likes more kind of muted plants in appearance . Definitely recommend !

Ordered 2 and the size is not consistent. One of the plant suffered root rot. Despite cutting away the damaged roots, all leaves turned yellow day by day and have to be cut back. Unlikely the plant will survive.

These arrived well, but are seedlings and not as pictures. I’ve ordered over 20+ aroids and honestly it is hit or miss. I would say 1/4 arrives in acceptable condition meaning the stem is easily salvageable. Maybe it’s packaging or the time traveling, but I always lose most of the leaves. Plants arrive in sphagnum moss wrapped in plastic. If you order from the USA, be aware you will probably not get what you see. That’s why the prices reflect it. These are prices for rehabs.
