Firstly, you are not getting a plant this size. I received 2 leaves when I picked up a pre-order from the yyc orchid show. When I removed the paper and saw the roots in the clear plastic bag with moss I was devastated. Half the root system was rotten compleatly. I’ve pruned and prayed to the plant gods. I had about 6 other plants in this order… let’s just say, I won’t be buying from these guys again.

Beautiful plant. I’ve ordered this two times now. The first time, the roots were nearly non-existent. Maybe one or two inch long brownish roots and a few other rotten roots. It is still rehabbing but little progress had been made. My last order…. The rot was so horrible. It had a great root system, except all of the roots were black and mush. Very disappointed because I love the look of this plant.

It had 4 leaves 1 had such large black spots I removed it immediately, and sprayed the plant with neem oil. Still have one with 2 black spots, but I think it is from the plant being so wet in a bag with the leaves touching each other.

The plant I received matched the pictures in the listing. It arrived with 4 leaves and two nodes under the soil that were both okay-rooted (not well rooted, but more than semi-rooted). It’s been a week since the plant arrived and it’s currently recovering and acclimating – some of the leaves have curled and slightly yellowed. This plant seems to be a more delicate species of Monstera.
