This primary hybrid combines Masd. Gold Dust with Drac. gigas xanthina, producing striking flowers with golden-yellow tones and the distinctive characteristics of both parent species.

  • Light: Bright indirect light to partial shade; avoid direct sunlight. East-facing windows or shaded greenhouse conditions are ideal.
  • Temperature: Daytime 59-72°F (15-22°C), nighttime 50-59°F (10-15°C).
  • Humidity: 70-85% with excellent air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep media consistently moist. Water frequently during active growth, reducing slightly in cooler months without allowing complete drying.

Additional Notes

This intergeneric hybrid combines the compact form of Masd. Gold Dust with the yellow form of Drac. gigas from Colombia. The result is a unique orchid with golden-hued blooms. Best grown mounted or in small pots with fine bark mix or sphagnum moss.
