An intermediate-growing epiphyte with a wide distribution across the tropical forests of Africa, the Indian Ocean islands, and Asia, producing racemose inflorescences with multiple simultaneously opening flowers. Each bloom features elongated, spatulate lateral sepals with bold, irregular dark blotching on a pale ground, rounded spotted dorsal sepals, dark ciliate lateral petals, and fleshy contrasting labelos — a floriferous and boldly patterned selection prized among collectors.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun to protect the foliage.
• Temperature: 58–78°F (14–26°C); an intermediate grower with a minimum tolerance around 55°F (13°C).
• Humidity: 70–85%; maintain consistent humidity with good air circulation to keep roots healthy.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or in a basket with a coarse bark mix for excellent drainage and airflow. Ships bare root, well established.
