Anthurium Sylva Nova (seedling)

Anthurium Sylva Nova (seedling) Culture

Anthurium Sylva Nova (seedling) is an Anthurium aroid hybrid grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. Like most of its genus it appreciates intermediate-to-warm conditions and steady, attentive care.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Direct sun can scorch the velvety foliage.
  • Temperature: It prefers days of 22-30 °C (72-86 °F) and cooler nights around 18-22 °C (64-72 °F).
  • Humidity: High, stable humidity (70-85%) keeps the foliage in top condition; a humidifier or grouping plants together helps in dry rooms.
  • Watering: Water when the top of the substrate starts to dry; the mix should stay lightly moist, never waterlogged.

Additional notes: Like all aroids, it is considered toxic if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
