Anthurium Libby in the Jungle x Anth. Silver Streak

A complex hybrid of Anth. Jungle Dreams × Anth. besseae aff. × Anth. Silver Streak, combining three distinct warm-growing lines into a single plant with exceptional foliar variability. The leaves range from elongated-lanceolate to broadly cordate, with prominent primary venation, fine silvery reticulation, and reddish petioles on a vigorous upright habit — with new growth emerging in a striking contrasting flush.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can wash out the venation contrast and scorch the leaves.
• Temperature: 65–82°F (18–28°C); a warm tropical grower that thrives with stable temperatures and no cold drafts.
• Humidity: 70–85%; high ambient humidity supports full leaf expansion and enhances the silvery venation pattern.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top layer of substrate begins to dry; avoid waterlogging and never allow roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Hybrid Advantage: This three-way cross brings together the bold structure of Anth. Jungle Dreams, the wild vigor of Anth. besseae aff., and the refined venation of Anth. Silver Streak, producing a plant with unpredictable and highly ornamental leaf expression across each new growth cycle.

Arrival & Establishment Recommendation: Upon arrival, plant promptly in a well-draining aroid mix (chunky perlite, bark, and coco coir). Water generously at first planting to rehydrate the roots and encourage rapid establishment.
