Peperomia round

A compact rosette-forming species from the tropical forests of South America with orbicular, semi-succulent leaves featuring prominent pinnate venation traced in reddish tones and slender reddish petioles. It produces thin, erect spike inflorescences on arching reddish stems that extend well beyond the leaf canopy.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the semi-succulent leaves.
• Temperature: 65–82°F (18–28°C); thrives as a warm tropical grower with stable, draft-free conditions.
• Humidity: 50–70%; tolerates moderate humidity but benefits from higher levels for optimal leaf development.
• Watering: Allow the substrate to dry out partially between waterings; semi-succulent leaves store water, making overwatering the most common cause of decline.
• Growth Habit: Compact rosette-forming perennial with orbicular, semi-succulent leaves on reddish petioles. Produces slender erect spike inflorescences on arching reddish stems that extend gracefully above the foliage.
