Information

Description

Description

A warm-growing miniature epiphyte from the forests of Southeast Asia, with a creeping, mat-forming habit that produces numerous tiny solitary flowers nestled directly among the small, rounded leaves. Each bloom features a compact dorsal sepal, elongated lateral sepals tapering into fine tails, and diminutive petals — a charming and floriferous species ideally suited to terrarium and vivarium culture.

  • Light: Low to bright indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate foliage.
  • Temperature: 65–86°F (18–30°C); a warm grower with a minimum tolerance around 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 75–90%; high humidity is essential — a terrarium or enclosed growing environment is ideal.
  • Watering: Keep roots and the creeping rhizome consistently moist; water frequently with excellent drainage to prevent rot.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or spread across a shallow tray with fine sphagnum moss to accommodate its creeping growth habit. Ships bare root, well established.
