This is a highly prized, rare tropical vine, famous for its delicate, lacy foliage. Its paper-thin leaves have extreme fenestration (holes), often looking more like netting than leaf. Here are some tips for growing it successfully:
This climbing aroid uses aerial roots to attach to a support pole, which is essential for it to produce its largest, mature leaves. Like most Monsteras, this plant is considered toxic if ingested by humans or pets.
Ordered two plants and they were both much bigger than pictured. The roots were in very good shape.
The plant I received is actually a bottom cutting, it took forever to form a leaf. If I knew it's not a full plant I'd definitely buy local instead of paying expensive international shipping fee and risk plant dying in the transportation.
Picked up in person, was not shipped. Has a lot of nodes but was rotting everywhere, the thing reeked. Stunk so bad even after multiple soaks. Had to use a lot of products and already put a lot of hours into this one.
imballata benissimo, la pianta è arrivata sana e ha tantissime foglie !
