One of the Disterigma hybrids we produce at Ecuagenera, Disterigma agathosmoides does best under cool-growing conditions.

  • Light: Bright to moderate indirect light.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 15-24 °C (59-75 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 10-15 °C (50-59 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High, stable humidity (70-85%) keeps the foliage in top condition; a humidifier or grouping plants together helps in dry rooms.
  • Watering: Water when the top of the substrate starts to dry; keep it lightly moist and never waterlogged.

Additional notes: Like most Ericaceae, it can drop part of its foliage from the stress of shipping. Give it good ambient humidity and water 2-3 times a week for the first 15 days and it will push new growth and recover quickly.
