Specklinia producta (Big)

A large, well-established mat of this creeping epiphyte from the cloud forests of Ecuador, with dense, arching, channeled leaves forming an expansive clump. The flowers are small but remarkably intricate: a hooded dorsal sepal curving forward over elongated, pointed lateral sepals, with a finely reticulated surface texture across the entire bloom — produced on slender, wiry inflorescences above the foliage.

• Light: Moderate to bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the fine foliage.
• Temperature: 60–78°F (16–26°C); an intermediate-warm grower that adapts well to stable indoor conditions.
• Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity supports vigorous mat growth and prolific flowering.
• Watering: Keep evenly moist; prefers not to dry out completely between waterings due to its fine, shallow root system.

Additional Notes

Blooms repeatedly throughout the year with multiple simultaneous spikes. Best grown mounted on cork bark or in a shallow basket with fine bark or sphagnum moss. Ships bare-root in excellent condition.
