Phragmipedium besseae 'Multiflower' x 'Gualaceo' 002909

Phragmipedium besseae 'Multiflower' x 'Gualaceo' 002909 Culture

One of the Phragmipedium hybrids we produce at Ecuagenera, Phragmipedium besseae 'Multiflower' x 'Gualaceo' 002909 does best under cool-to-intermediate conditions.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Morning sun is tolerated, but avoid hot midday sun.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 18-26 °C (64-79 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 12-18 °C (54-64 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High humidity (70-85%) with constant gentle air movement, much like its cloud-forest conditions, keeps the plant healthy and prevents fungal spots.
  • Watering: Keep constantly moist; this genus tolerates more water than most slipper orchids. Use good-quality water.
