Paphiopedilum Culture

• Light: Prefers bright, filtered light to medium-bright light. Similar to dappled sunlight. Avoid direct, harsh sunlight, especially midday sun, which can burn its leaves. 
• Temperature: Thrives in intermediate temperatures. Ideal daytime temperatures are around 20-25°C (68-77°F), with cooler nighttime temperatures around 16-22°C (61-72°F). 
• Humidity: Requires high humidity, ideally between 50-70%. 
• Watering: This orchid lacks pseudobulbs, so it should never be allowed to dry out completely. Keep the potting medium consistently moist but ensure excellent drainage to prevent roots from sitting in stagnant water, which leads to rot.
