A floriferous hybrid of Oncsa. Shonan × Oncsa. Kaizumic Delight, producing horizontal, branched spikes densely set with medium-sized flowers in the classic dancing-lady form. The narrow, tiger-spotted sepals and petals provide a bold contrast to the very large, broadly spreading lip with its strongly ruffled, undulate margins and a prominent central callus.
-
Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the foliage and fade the intricate patterning.
-
Temperature: 58–78°F (14–26°C); a warm to intermediate grower that adapts well to typical indoor conditions.
-
Humidity: 55–75%; tolerates moderate humidity levels, making it well suited to home cultivation.
-
Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; never allow roots to sit in standing water.
Additional Notes
Best cultivated in a fine bark mix in a well-draining container. Plants are shipped bare root and well established.
