A hybrid of Max. striata × Max. striata f. red, combining the classic amber-striped form with its richly pigmented dark counterpart. Offspring display a compelling range of flower coloration — from golden-yellow with bold dark striations to deep mahogany-red — each with the characteristic elongated, arching sepals and petals and a trilobed lip with contrasting center.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the foliage and fade the striped patterning.
• Temperature: 55–75°F (13–24°C); thrives as an intermediate grower with a moderate nighttime temperature drop to encourage blooming.
• Humidity: 60–80%; consistent humidity supports robust pseudobulb development and prolific flowering.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.
