Masdevallia Sueno Lindo

A primary hybrid of Masd. teaguei × Masd. uniflora that combines the bold floral presence of its parents into a compact, free-blooming plant. Broad, cupped sepals taper into slender elongated tails, with multiple blooms opening simultaneously on short upright spikes — an eye-catching display from a small but rewarding cool grower.

• Light: 70–80% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can bleach flower color and stress the foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C) — Intermediate to Cool grower; tolerates mild warmth but performs best with cool nights that encourage blooming.
• Humidity: 80–90%; strong air movement is essential to prevent crown rot and fungal issues, particularly in warmer months.
• Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times; water 2–3× per week. Masdevallias lack pseudobulbs and cannot tolerate prolonged dryness — consistency is key.

Additional Notes

Grown at Ecuagenera's facilities in the highlands of Ecuador under cool, humid Andean conditions. Plants are shipped bare root, well-established, and acclimated to intermediate-to-cool growing conditions.
