Lepanthes elegantula x Lepanthes Andean Flame

A striking hybrid of Lths. elegantula × Lths. Andean Flame. It produces successive flowers with an elongated rhomboid outline, a long acuminate dorsal sepal pointing upward and an equally elongated synsepal below, a deep bordeaux-red surface with an iridescent silvery central zone, and contrasting coral-orange petals at the center.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that benefits from good air circulation and stable temperatures.
• Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity for best growth and blooming.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as Lepanthes roots are sensitive to dehydration.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its dramatic elongated flowers combine the elegant form of both parents. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
