Lepanthes dodsonii x Lepanthes helicocephala

A striking hybrid of Lths. dodsonii × Lths. helicocephala. It grows a large, succulent orbicular leaf with a finely papillose texture and prominent midrib, and produces flowers directly over the leaf surface with an erect acuminate dorsal sepal, lanceolate lateral sepals spreading diagonally downward, and a compact central floral complex with a prominent contrasting bilobed labellum within.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the succulent foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that benefits from good air circulation and stable temperatures.
• Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity — ideal for terrariums or humid intermediate setups.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as Lepanthes roots are sensitive to dehydration.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its large ornamental succulent leaf and intricately structured flowers make it an excellent terrarium subject. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
