Geogenanthus Pastaza

A rare creeping species, belonging to the Commelinaceae family. Leaves are elliptic to ovate with a firm, slightly fleshy texture, a pronounced midrib, and a strongly contrasting underside.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which causes leaf scorch and fading.
• Temperature: 62–79°F (17–26°C); thrives as an intermediate to warm grower with stable, humid conditions.
• Humidity: 70–90%; high ambient humidity is essential for maintaining leaf texture and vigor.
• Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist but never waterlogged; water when the surface begins to dry and ensure excellent drainage.
• Growth Habit: Low-growing, creeping ground cover with a spreading rosette form; ideal for terrariums, humid vivariums, or shaded tropical beds.
