Dendrobium Oriental Smile 'Orange Heart' Culture

Dendrobium Oriental Smile 'Orange Heart' is an orchid hybrid of the genus Dendrobium, grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. It grows best in warm conditions.

  • Light: Bright light; a few hours of gentle sun help flowering.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 25-32 °C (77-90 °F) with cooler nights of 20-24 °C (68-75 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: Moderate to high humidity (50-70%) with good air circulation helps keep the foliage healthy and prevents fungal problems.
  • Watering: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to begin drying between waterings. Reduce slightly during the cooler months.

Additional notes: Grown from our own stock at Ecuagenera. Plants are shipped bare-root with a phytosanitary certificate.
