Cyrtocidium Andean Honey

A hybrid of Onc. Espiritu Santo × Cyr. Anita de Cordero, two Andean intergeneric hybrids with strong ornamental lineage. It produces erect, branched flower spikes bearing medium-sized flowers with undulate, twisted sepals and petals of leathery texture and a small lip with fringed margins.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; good light levels promote vigorous growth and prolific blooming without scorching the foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an intermediate to cool grower that benefits from a temperature drop at night and consistent air movement.
• Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity supports healthy pseudobulb development and encourages repeat blooming.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the substrate to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged wetness at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark mix in a pot sized to the root system. Plants are shipped bare root and well established; pot promptly upon arrival and water thoroughly to rehydrate the roots.
