Information

Cymbidium Joan's Charisma (medium) Culture

Cymbidium Joan's Charisma (medium) is a Cymbidium orchid hybrid grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. Like most of its genus it appreciates cool-growing conditions and steady, attentive care.

  • Light: Very bright light with some direct morning sun.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 15-24 °C (59-75 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 10-15 °C (50-59 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High humidity (70-85%) with constant gentle air movement, much like its cloud-forest conditions, keeps the plant healthy and prevents fungal spots.
  • Watering: Water generously during active growth, reducing somewhat in the cooler months.
