One of the Columnea hybrids we produce at Ecuagenera, Columnea erythrophaea x Columnea gloriosa does best under intermediate-to-warm conditions.

  • Light: Bright to moderate indirect light.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 22-30 °C (72-86 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 18-22 °C (64-72 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High, stable humidity (70-85%) keeps the foliage in top condition; a humidifier or grouping plants together helps in dry rooms.
  • Watering: Water when the top of the substrate starts to dry; keep it lightly moist and never waterlogged.
