I purchased a plant labeled Cattleya labiata f. coerulea ‘Budny’ × ‘Nunes’ for $80 (bare root). Once it bloomed, it was clearly alba (no coerulea pigmentation), which does not match the label.
The company acknowledged the issue and offered a partial refund or replacement. However, the original plant is now described as unavailable, even though similar coerulea plants continue to be offered in their live sales.
Additionally, I have not yet received the refund/credit that was promised, so the matter is still unresolved.
While communication has been polite, there are ongoing concerns regarding accuracy of labeling and completion of customer resolutions.
