Information

Brassolaeliocattleya Greenwich

Brassolaeliocattleya Greenwich is a striking trigeneric orchid hybrid, combining the bold form of Brassavola, the vigor of Laelia, and the classic elegance of Cattleya into one impressive bloom. Known for its rich coloring and full, ruffled petals, it makes a stunning statement piece for any orchid collection.

Care Guide

  • Light: Bright light, including some direct morning sun; strong light supports abundant flowering.
  • Water: Water regularly, allowing the growing medium to dry between waterings; avoid letting roots sit in standing water.
  • Temperature: Prefers warm conditions between 65-85°F (18-29°C); avoid cold drafts.
  • Humidity: Thrives with humidity above 50%; good airflow helps keep roots and leaves healthy.
  • Potting Mix: Use a well-draining orchid mix, such as bark and perlite, that supports strong root growth.
  • Fertilizer: Feed lightly with a balanced orchid fertilizer during the growing season to support large, vibrant blooms.

With bright light and consistent care, Brassolaeliocattleya Greenwich rewards growers with big, richly colored blooms that make a stunning centerpiece in any orchid collection.
