Brascidostele Guatemala

A hybrid of Bst. Capricious × Onc. Alessandro Valenza, two complex intergeneric hybrids with strong Oncidium alliance heritage. It produces robust plants with large pseudobulbs and long lanceolate leaves, bearing tall, erect spikes densely set with large, boldly patterned flowers featuring broadly spreading, heavily mottled sepals and petals and a wide lip with a prominent central callus.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; good light levels are essential to support vigorous growth and prolific blooming.
• Temperature: 58–78°F (14–26°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from a slight temperature drop at night and consistent air movement year-round.
• Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity supports healthy pseudobulb development and encourages abundant, long-lasting flowers.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the substrate to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged wetness at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a coarse, well-draining bark mix in a pot sized to the root system. Plants are shipped bare root and well established; pot promptly upon arrival and water thoroughly to rehydrate the roots.
