Anthurium Heart of The Anaconda

A hybrid of Anth. Black Anaconda × Anth. Green Heart, two foliage Anthuriums selected for their bold leaf architecture. Leaves are large and deeply cordate with prominent white venation, held upright on slender dark petioles that give the plant a dramatic, architectural presence.

• Light: Bright indirect light with up to 70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which scorches the large leaf surface.
• Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); a warm tropical grower that thrives with stable intermediate to warm conditions and no cold drafts.
• Humidity: 60–80%; higher humidity encourages larger leaf expansion and maintains the deep texture of the venation.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of substrate begins to dry; never allow the roots to sit in standing water or dry out completely.
• Growth Habit: Upright, single-stemmed grower with large successive leaves; combines the dark, dramatic petiole structure of Anth. Black Anaconda with the broad, heart-shaped lamina of Anth. Green Heart.

Additional Notes

Arrival & Establishment Recommendation: Pot promptly upon arrival in a well-draining, chunky aroid mix (bark, perlite, and coco coir). Water thoroughly to rehydrate the roots and place in a warm, humid spot away from direct sun for the first two weeks.
