A seedling of one of the most coveted velvet Anthuriums, grown from select stock at Ecuagenera. It displays the characteristic elongated, velvety dark-green leaves with a deeply impressed venation that defines this species.
Additional Notes
Best grown in a mix of orchid bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss. Terracotta or net pots recommended for airflow. Ships bare root, well-established seedling (~10cm). Grown at Ecuagenera, Ecuador.
I picked this up along with a philodendron patriciae as a pre-order at a show. The existing leaves had a bit of damage from the shipping but have recovered well. I picked it up back in early May and it gave me my first new leaf last week (so it took about a month). My experience was largely positive and I've been able to successfully check two of my dream plants off my wishlist.

Arrived crispy and dead without a rhizome to salvage. Guessing I couldn’t expect more for a winter shipment of a queen anthurium.
