Lepanthes dodsonii x Lths. helgae

A dramatic primary hybrid of Lths. dodsonii × Lths. helgae. It produces large, showy flowers with a broad flat hood-like dorsal sepal, elongated lanceolate lateral sepals pointing diagonally downward with acuminate tips, a densely pubescent iridescent surface across all sepals, and a dark central floral complex with a small purple labellum within.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that benefits from good air circulation and stable temperatures.
• Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity — ideal for terrariums or humid intermediate setups.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as Lepanthes roots are sensitive to dehydration.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its large, velvety flowers make it one of the most visually striking Lepanthes primary hybrids for terrarium culture. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
