-
Light: Provide bright, diffused light, similar to what a Phalaenopsis or Dendrobium requires. Avoid direct, intense sunlight, especially during the hottest parts of the day.
-
Temperature: This orchid is a hot to warm grower. The ideal temperature range is 60-90°F (15.5-32.2°C). It can tolerate higher daytime temperatures if provided with adequate air movement and cooling at night.
-
Humidity: High humidity is important, generally 50% or more. In an artificial setting, providing constant misting or high ambient moisture helps the plant thrive.
-
Watering: This species requires constant moisture and should never be allowed to fully dry out. Water liberally and frequently, ensuring the coarse, well-draining medium stays moist between waterings.
