Description

This elegant hybrid between Onc. Nationhood and Onc. Leon Perrin displays graceful flowers with ruffled edges and a contrasting labelo on branching sprays, creating a refined display when provided with bright light and consistent care throughout the growing season.

  • Light: Bright indirect to filtered light with 30-50% shade cloth. Tolerates some direct morning sun but protect from intense afternoon rays.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to warm grower. Daytime 70-80°F (21-27°C), nighttime 60-65°F (16-18°C). Adapts well to household temperatures with good air circulation.
  • Humidity: 40-60% humidity. Maintain with humidity trays or room humidifiers. Ensure excellent air movement to prevent fungal issues around pseudobulbs and new growth.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when potting medium is nearly dry, typically every 7-10 days. Allow slight drying between waterings to promote healthy root development.

Additional Notes

Named in honor of Christian Ochoa, an important member of Ecuagenera's sales team. Best grown in medium bark mix with perlite for optimal drainage and root health.
