A magnificent primary hybrid resulting from the cross between C. dowiana and C. forbesii, inheriting the finest traits of its exceptional parentage. This sympodial orchid features sturdy pseudobulbs that produce elegant, highly fragrant, and long-lasting flowers displaying a beautifully detailed, ruffled lip.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; protect the foliage from harsh, direct midday sun.
  • Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); an intermediate to warm grower that thrives in stable conditions.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; high ambient humidity supports vigorous development and healthy blooming cycles.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings, ensuring sharp drainage.

Additional Notes

This hybrid produces medium-sized flowers on compact to medium-sized plants, making it a stellar addition to any collection. Ships bare root, well-established, and must be rehydrated at an intermediate temperature before being potted into a well-draining orchid mix upon arrival.
