Anguloa cliftonii J.G.Fowler, first published in Gardeners' Chronicle in 1910, is one of Ecuador's most beloved Tulip Orchids — and the var. Luigui is a select named variety prized for its distinctive character. This intermediate-growing species produces large, waxy, cup-shaped flowers with a rocking lip and a delightful fragrance, all on an impressive 45 cm plant that makes a bold statement in any collection. A named variety adds an extra layer of exclusivity for the discerning collector.
