Oncidium Andean Clouds

A hybrid of Onc. Jardin del Azuay × Onc. Sally Jane Russell, two Andean Oncidium hybrids with strong ornamental heritage. It produces compact plants with short flower spikes bearing large, showy flowers with broadly rounded, undulate sepals and petals and a wide lip with a prominent central callus.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; adequate light is key to encouraging prolific blooming without stressing the foliage.
• Temperature: 55–75°F (13–24°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from a slight temperature drop at night and good air circulation.
• Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity supports healthy pseudobulb development and consistent flowering.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the substrate to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged wetness at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark mix in a pot sized to the root system. Plants are shipped bare root and well established; pot promptly upon arrival and water thoroughly to rehydrate the roots.
