This primary hybrid combines Masd. princeps with Drac. roezlii dark, producing distinctive flowers with rich coloration and the characteristic form of both parent species.

  • Light: Bright indirect light to partial shade; avoid direct sunlight. East-facing windows or shaded greenhouse conditions are ideal.
  • Temperature: Daytime 59-75°F (15-24°C), nighttime 52-61°F (11-16°C).
  • Humidity: 70-85% with excellent air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep media consistently moist. Water frequently during active growth, reducing slightly in cooler months without allowing complete drying.

Additional Notes

This intergeneric hybrid combines Masd. princeps with the dark form of Drac. roezlii. The cross produces unique flowers with intermediate characteristics. Best grown mounted or in small pots with fine bark mix or sphagnum moss.
