This stunning primary hybrid between Masd. coccinea and Masd. harlequina produces gem-like flowers with rich ruby tones and excellent substance, blooming reliably throughout the year.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50-70% shade cloth protection. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage foliage.
  • Temperature: Intermediate grower. Daytime 64-77°F (18-25°C), nighttime 55-64°F (13-18°C). Maintain a 10-12°F day-night differential for optimal flowering.
  • Humidity: 65-80% with good air circulation. Use humidity trays or humidifiers while ensuring adequate airflow to prevent disease.
  • Watering: Keep media consistently moist. Mounted plants need daily misting, potted specimens 3-4 times weekly. Reduce slightly in winter without allowing complete drying.
