An intermediate-growing epiphyte from the montane forests of East Asia, producing pairs of flowers simultaneously on a single inflorescence. Each bloom features a broad, strongly veined dorsal sepal with densely ciliate margins, elongated lanceolate lateral sepals sweeping downward in a wide arc, small fringed petals, and a fleshy dark labelo — a robust and ornamental floral display.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun to protect the foliage.
• Temperature: 55–75°F (13–24°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from a distinct cool season to initiate flowering. Minimum tolerance around 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: 70–85%; maintain consistent humidity with good air circulation.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; reduce slightly during cooler months.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a basket with a coarse bark mix for excellent drainage and airflow. Ships bare root, well established.
