An epiphytic orchid endemic to Ecuador, producing racemes with multiple flowers bearing very elongated, linear-lanceolate sepals and petals that curve and spread outward in the spider-like silhouette characteristic of the genus. The flowers are densely arranged along the rachis, with a small labellum and prominent column at the center of each bloom.
Additional Notes
Best grown in a pot or basket with a coarse, well-draining bark mix and strong air movement around the roots. An Ecuadorian endemic named in honor of Father Angel Andreetta, a pioneering figure in Ecuadorian orchidology. Shipped bare root in well-established condition.
