Information

Description

Description

A charming miniature epiphyte native to Southeast Asia, thriving mounted on wood or cork with its compact fan of narrow, channeled leaves and long, branching aerial roots. The pendent racemes carry multiple small, open flowers with golden-bronze sepals and a boldly contrasting trilobed lip marked with vivid purple-magenta.

  • Light: Bright indirect to partial direct light; 30–50% shade cloth. High light is essential for consistent blooming.
  • Temperature: 65–95°F (18–35°C) — Warm grower. Protect from temperatures below 55°F (13°C) and cold drafts.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; mist aerial roots regularly or grow in a humid environment with strong air circulation.
  • Watering: Water frequently during active growth, allowing roots to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce in cooler months.

Additional Notes

Ideal mounted on a wood or cork slab to accommodate its extensive aerial root system and pendent inflorescences. Ships bare root and well-established.
