O Anthurium é um dos géneros mais icónicos e diversificados dentro da família das Araceae, celebrado pelas suas impressionantes folhas em forma de coração e pelas suas estruturas florais de cores vivas e longa duração. Nativas das regiões tropicais das Américas, estas plantas perenes são particularmente apreciadas pelas suas espatas brilhantes e cerosas — frequentemente confundidas com flores — que surgem em tons brilhantes de vermelho, rosa, branco, roxo e verde, contrastando belissimamente com os seus espádices delgados em forma de cauda.
